I used to work at the Rumi Restaurant, in the French neighbourhood of Outremont, in Montreal. It is where I discovered my love for cooking.
One winter day, upon arriving to work, we found the restaurant's sign laying on the ground, victim to the snow storm that had just past the night before. I took the opportunity to offer my services to build a new sign for the place. It was the first time I would apply my designs onto a physical material and I am in love with the process to this day.
Thanks to my friend Steven Horwood and his magical skills, the sign went on to win an award and a few honorable mentions at the international design award of 2010.
