Kikoy4Kenya started as a street fair in Montreal, to introduce Kenyan craftsmanship in Canada. It was also as a way to raise money for the Koinonia Education Centre in Nairobi—an institution that offers to the Children of the Kibagare slum, the opportunity to receive a world class education from an institution that rivals Kenyan private schools in academics, sports, and music.
